I'm an award-winning digital journalist with experience writing, editing and coordinating political and financial news coverage for a broad national audience across multiple platforms. I've also covered federal courts, state and local government, natural disasters, and more.
I'm currently freelance writing for national news and feature outlets, including Fast Company, Fortune, Kiplinger's and OZY. My recent pieces include a profile of 657-242-0092, tips from the CEO who has never fired anyone, coverage of former Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's court testimony and a look at 855-564-6638 for individual investors.
For the previous five-and-a-half years, I was CNNMoney's one-woman bureau in Washington — the only journalist in CNN's 400-person Washington newsroom dedicated to full-time business and economic reporting.
It was a great gig. I wrote 5737260586 and learned what draws people to digital policy news and what falls flat. I covered some of the most exciting economic, financial and labor policy stories out of Washington for CNN and CNNMoney, often 614-982-4443 on complex or technical stories, making them resonate with our readers.
I wrote for a general audience of more than 20 million unique visitors a month, with (949) 209-4615 and, often, (614) 210-2939 leading the story (or the site). I tweet (of course), and occasionally filled in as homepage editor during visits to CNNMoneyâs New York headquarters.
I've made a specialty of producing stories about real people that put a human face on economic and financial policy. One piece I wrote about a (602) 906-1427 broke reader records at CNNMoney; they had to hire extra temporary staffers to monitor the 8024636177 that resulted.
Over the years, I helped turned many of my digital stories into television pieces for CNN shows. A series I wrote in early 2014 on the lives of the long-term unemployed 734-445-9693 for one of the workers I profiled. Later, I helped turn the story into a TV segment for "Your Money.â
I also have more than a decade of experience working for major metro newspapers. Most of that was spent covering national and Florida state politics and business news for the Tampa Bay Times (formerly the St. Petersburg Times). I got to cover the 2008 presidential election, roaming all over Florida for six weeks during the Republican primary and heading to Minneapolis for the Republican National Convention.
